This piece was created using my original logo. ( seen on www.jennamarie.net ) The original took me about 30 hours to create. Despite the time involved , I knew that it could improve. So I decided to delve into it once again, and create a true color vector self portrait. This “restoration” took a total of 35.5 hours, and it is one of my all time favorite pieces. Most of the time i spent on it was in getting the shading just right, applying gradients, blurring , smoothing , burning and dodging.

 

Aside from the gratification of being pleased with my own artwork, this piece has further amplified my love and devotion to Photoshop. The possibilities truly astound me. So much that I find myself incapable of containing my creativity – it flows constantly!
